AI governance charter
An AI governance charter is the founding document that sets who decides what about AI in an organization: the roles, the scope, the decision rights, and the escalation paths.
It is the difference between an AI policy that lists rules and a governance function that can actually make and enforce decisions. Without agreed decision rights, every hard AI question turns into a turf argument.
