Artificial narrow intelligence (ANI) is AI built to do one kind of task well, such as spam filtering or image tagging, rather than reasoning across domains like a human.
Every AI system in production today is ANI, large language models included. It is the intelligence you actually secure and govern, while artificial general intelligence (AGI) stays hypothetical.
